CHS StuCo Plans Pink-Out Events

Posted Date: 9/30/24 (6:07 PM)

CHS Student Council is ready to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a few fun activities!💗

First, CHS StuCo invites all community members to stop by any school office and grab a cancer awareness ribbon. This ribbon can be colored to represent ANY form of cancer. StuCo would also like to encourage you to add the name of any family member or friend that has fought or is currently fighting cancer. These ribbons can be returned to any school office by October 10 to be displayed at this years pink out game on October 17.

Second, CHS StuCo challenges students in grades 9-12 to a class competition. Students can purchase a paper chain link from Mrs. Mitchell or Mrs. Collins for only 10 cents each anytime from October 1 - October 10! That’s right, just $1 will get your class 10 chain links! These links will be combined to form a class chain. The class with the longest chain wins the competition! In addition, the chains will be transferred to the football field on game night as more decor for our pink out game!

CHS StuCo is so grateful to be able to put on these activities to honor those in the community affected by cancer! Your participation is very much appreciated!
